I think I wasn't very clear.  What I consider "silly" is for us, right now,
to get sidetracked by a major effort in replacing, as you put it, the "wetware"
of the rest of the body.  I think that, limited as we are, MURG's history and
stated goal of focussing on the brain and only on the brain is a much wiser
course of action.  To rephrase, all I'm saying is that non-neural prosthesis is,
for the most part, off-topic.  It's on topic when we discuss, say, philosophy or
ramifications of MU, sure, but it isn't our main purpose.
