Hello =)

1. Last time I left off working on the road map for plasticity,
I found out it's a very complicated problem. First we need
to elucidate 'major' molecular cascades such as LTP/LTD.
That is somewhat near completion I guess, but there could
be surprises. Another problem is that of 'parallel pathways'
which are parallel to those cascades, and from a biochemical
assay point of view it might be very difficult to exhaust all
these pathways. This is the category of neuromodulation
and such. For example, how neuromodulators (DA NE 5HT etc,
not to mention myraid of peptides) affect synaptic efficacy.
As the number of players increase the combinations/complexity
increase nonlinearly. Joe: if you think that's not show-stopping,
YOU go ahead and solve it =)

2. I've proposed a financial strategy, it's on my website.
Basically it means issuing 'tokens' of future revenue to pay
off researchers, staff, etc. I think this could be a win-win
strategy for all of us.

3. I'm also starting a regular IRC chat. Come discuss stuff
and also socialize a bit =)
