Eugene, could you please not start forwarding posts from other 
mailing lists again?  This was a big part of the reason why I stopped 
following MURG a couple years ago, but things got better more 
recently and I started participating again.

How about this instead: collect a list of mailing lists you think 
might be of interest to MURG members, such as the comp-neuro group or 
whatnot.  Perhaps also provide a description of why they might be of 
interest.  Then just post this list once every several months.

That way, people who want to see those postings can subscribe to 
those lists and see them.  People already subscribed to those lists 
will see them only once instead of twice.  And people who don't want 
to see them, won't see them at all.
