[Peter C. McCluskey]

 I heard Marcos Guillen talk about this project at the recent Accelerating
Change Conference. He's apparently made enough money off his prior startups
that he can afford to finance this himself for a while, and won't be under
much pressure to produce a quick profit.
 His main focus currently seems to be finding computational shortcuts that
speed up standard models and integrating the knowledge that is already
available.
 It's unclear whether he understands enough about neuroscience to do a
good job of it.
