1) Joseph M. daily posts multiple, redundant, only slightly relevant news items
   to a topical list

2) when asked privately, he refuses to change his posting habits

Assuming the majority of subscribers agrees, I'm asking the list administrator
to exercise his authority.

P.S. I have no trouble phasing him out via a procmail rule,
     but this shouldn't be necessary. Besides, he's polluting
     the archives, which are web-visible.
