The implied effective signalling bandwidth of the human cortex of under
10 Gbps seems astonishingly low to my programmer brain.  There's 10
times more bandwdith than that on any current high end consumer video
card.  There's a lot of implicit signalling bandwidth in the brain by
the fact that the "from" and "to" neurons are implicitly known, but you
could tag each bit with 32-bit fromNeuron and toNeuron tags, and still
come in under the "graphic card" bandwidth mark.   (Not that any of this
is relevant for emulation purposes, I just like the look of the numbers)
