Good news for GENESIS users.  The NIH has just approved 5 years of
funding for GENESIS support, maintenance and further development.

Funding is specifically provided for:

    * User support staff (bug fixes, software ports, etc)
    * Development of a new Java-based user interface
    * Enhancements to make GENESIS easier to use
    * Development of new educational tutorials
    * An annual GENESIS Users Meeting in San Antonio starting in spring 2005
