Maybe the end-product will be better, but the reward
system is problematic. Precisely it is because of the
adoption of an open reward system (being nothing!) that
the end-product can be fine tuned by a lot of people.
So clearly there is a trade-off.
As I pointed out before, one can always give reasons to
justify one's own approach and easily point out problems
in others. It really is a "who gets which slice of the pie"
problem, and I think every grown up person must realize
there is no simple answer. The problem is whether people
are willing to compromise to arrive at a workable solution.
And I'm proposing such a possibility.
