[MURG] Real / Not real world?

Hey there,
I agree entirely that the "Real World" shall set the
pace for all intelligence pre or post uploading.
There is a rythm to all life, and that rythm is not
mutable. The simple fact that our perception is that
the speed of light is never changing evidences that
our perception is intrinsically timed with the speed
of light. Of course the speed of light changes, but
our experience of life does not allow us to perceive
it since the "speed of life" changes right along with
the "speed of light".
I understand the concept of advancing the "reference"
speed in such a manner that the simulation will run
faster with out being aware of the change, but in the
end, it would be just that: a simulation. At the rate
of 3000 years of simulation per day of reality as has
been suggested, their would be a serious shortage of
content for the simulation to emulate. Information
and experience can only be stretched so far.
If the goal is to go on living, then the requirement
must be to continue experiencing life. I continue to
propose that life exists at and in conjunction with
the speed of light. The information flow and
experiences that add up to living can only be sampled
at the rate that reality offers it. (excepting for
compressed data which would still allow for the same
net sum in the end.)
