I agree completely. There are definite limits. Note that it is also quite
possible that uploads in a VR could be run at an event pace much slower
than in reality, so that a year would go by for every perceived minute. In
that case, if the hardware is not yet up to spec by the time uploading is
possible (unlikely), existence in VR could indeed be more blissful than in
a reality where the slowdown would be painfully obvious.

Just to be clear, I also wish to continue my interactions with reality.
