Yeah simulation is probably the best word to use to describe it.
Originally I suggested emulation as an alternative to uploading, but
simulation is better.
I think everyone agrees it would be a good prize, we just can't decide
on the nature of the prize(s). Given that I suggested the uploading X
Prize to begin with, and I provided a skeleton write up, you can
safely assume that I'm interested in submitting it too. :)
You should include in your list of subgoals the automated scanning of
a cubic mm of neural tissue as Joe suggested (and has already
submitted to the WTN X Prize group, I believe). (Granted it's an
implicit subgoal (can't upload without it)).
