"Memory can be recorded"?!?  How, exactly?  The only way to preserve 
memories is to preserve the ultrastructure of the brain.  And that's 
the whole point of cryonics.

No, a cryonics patient is pretty safe from degradation.  Most of the 
potential sources of loss (terrorism, natural disaster, etc.) would 
apply to a rrecording on some other medium too.  And at least it 
doesn't face the risk of obsolescence, which is the fate of most 
recordings today.
