Hi Eugene,

I'm still learning Plone/Zope, so I'll have to look into the master/slave 
replication thing as well as dumping the database. What I do know is that 
the recommended backup procedure is simply to copy the database file (only 
on highly active sites do they suggest stopping the Zope server before 
making the copy... and doing more complicated things if you need to have a 
Zope server active while obtaining a live copy).
Perhaps someone with more Plone/Zope experience can chime in here?
